TRUTH PLANTERS HUNGARY
Truth Planters is registered in Hungary as “Igazság Plántálók Alapítvány” which means “Truth Planters Foundation”. We have 5 board members:
DAVID STEELE
FOUNDER
David is from the UK and is married to Hannah. Together they have 5 children and have been in full-time Christian ministry since before their wedding in 2011. David has a passion to see the life transforming truth of Jesus Christ impact people all around the world, just as it has impacted his own life. He leads through equipping, encouraging and inspiring those around him to follow Christ wholeheartedly and has a great desire to see others fulfil the calling God has placed on their lives.
MARCELL KONDOR
CHAIRMAN
Marcell is from Budapest, Hungary. He loves his city but also loves to travel and explore new places. He is known for being sincere, trustworthy and dependent. He holds various positions of church and ministry leadership and is a great team player. Marcell’s caring heart and his passion for evangelism, coupled with his willingness to serve others and his wisdom and experience in Christian leadership make him an ideal person to carry the responsibility and role of “Chairman” for Truth Planters in Hungary.
Ildiko Tabajdi
BOARD MEMBER
Born in Budapest, Ildiko now lives with her husband and two boys in a small town in Hungary, close to the Steele family. She has personally experienced the marvellous grace and patience of God as He has loved and pursued her over many years to bring her to where she is today – in love with Him and passionately desiring to use her God-given gifts to get the message of the gospel out to as many people as possible. Ildiko’s experience in business, law and accounting are critical to the smooth running of Truth Planters Hungary and her servant-heartedness makes her a pleasure to work with.
HANNAH STEELE
BOARD MEMBER
Hannah is from Germany and is married to David. Although she prioritises motherhood in this season, she is a very key part of the Truth Planters board. In fact, some have said that without Hannah there would be no Truth Planters team at all! She is full of wisdom and carefully considers how we will be able to practically out-work the various ideas and visions that our team members have.
VIKI PANCZEL
BOARD MEMBER
Viki is from Hungary but has lived and served with Christian mission organisations in the United Kingdom, Australia and Hungary. Best-known for her worship leading and God-inspired song writing, she has a great passion to see the truth of Jesus transform hearts. She is always ready to serve in whatever way is needed and carries in her heart a strong desire to care for those who are less fortunate in this life. She is married to Patrik who is also a Truth Planters missionary.

THOMAS POULTON
CHAIRMAN
Tom is married to Olesya and together they have 3 children. He has a passion to see the ground-breaking good news of Jesus transform peoples’ lives by the power of the Holy Spirit. Tom’s professional background is in finance, he is the chairman of Truth Planters UK and is also on the leadership team of his local church where he is active in preaching and youth ministry.
James Hodges
BOARD MEMBER
James is married to Lucy and together they have two children. They have a great desire that young people in South Wales (and beyond) would experience the same life transforming love, truth and power of God that they have both experienced. James can often be found on the streets sharing the love of Jesus with people, serving in his local church where he is one of the leaders, or sitting at his desk using his graphics and animation skills for the Kingdom of God.

LUCY HODGES
BOARD MEMBER
Lucy is married to James and together they have two children. Alongside bringing up her beautiful family, Lucy supports James in leading the work of Truth Planters UK and is actively involved in mentoring missionaries, hosting events, evangelism and is our main administrator.
